Mission Friends® is offered for ages 3 to Kindergarten on Sunday nights from 6-7 p.m. How young can a child be and still learn Christian missions concepts? The preschool years! Mission Friends® provides the building blocks of faith and basic awareness of God’s love for all people. They become aware that God wants everyone to know of His love, but not everyone knows of God’s love. These young children move from a focus on self to a focus on others and learn how they can help others in need. Preschoolers can also be involved in missions through ongoing missions discipleship through Mission Friends®, missions activities incorporated in the church’s programs, family mission experiences, and one-time missions activities such as collecting for the food closet or missions offerings.
