Every Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. our missions organizations meet. Children, ages 4-5, meet as Mission Friends to study about missions and missionaries around the world. Our 1st-6th grade girls, Girls in Action (GA’s), and 1st-6th grade boys, Royal Ambassadors (RA’s), meet to do missions projects and study about missions.
Our current missions and ministry opportunities are:
- Our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions goal is to give $15,000 toward this effort.
- Adopt-A-Block, our partnership with the South Side Mission
- Vacation Bible School, scheduled for June 11-15, 2012
- Our Annual Church Mission Trip is tentatively scheduled for June 18-23, 2012, to Joplin, Missouri
- The Mission Serve Youth Mission Trip this coming summer will be in Dallas, Texas during the week of July 15-21
- July 23-27 is Hope Builders week. It is a construction/reconstruction missions opportunity with the South Side Mission.
