In February 1998, Woodland seniors began meeting monthly. We continue to meet the fourth Thursday of each month for a time of food and fellowship. We begin our meetings with joyful singing, followed by word games. Then we have an inspirational devotion followed by a wonderful meal and a time of great fellowship.
Our group also plans many outings. We’ve taken fun trips to Branson, day trips to Bloomington for a theater performance and to Rock Island to a dinner theater and program. Our most recent trip was to Hennepin Canal for a boat ride.
Wherever we go and whatever we do, we are sure to have a great time, enjoying one another’s company and praising the Lord.
